When Melissa Boyd opened Satya Yoga and Pilates, she was on a quest to create a sanctuary where both her students and staff could nurture their physical and mental well-being. By building a team of experienced and dedicated instructors, she has brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the studio. With diverse backgrounds and specialization areas, the Satya crew is committed to empowering students to live their healthiest, happiest lives.

Our Team

Georges Katsaros

My name is Georges Katsaros, and I’m a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) with a deep love for yoga, meditation, and mindful living. My journey began with a personal practice, but it soon blossomed into a way of life. Embracing a vegetarian lifestyle and the philosophy behind yoga, I found that this path offered not only physical strength and flexibility, but also clarity, compassion, and balance.

I am passion-driven and committed to continually expanding my knowledge. Trained by Melissa Boyd, I am currently enrolled in a 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training program to achieve my 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) certification. Alongside my studies, I maintain a dedicated daily practice that keeps my teaching authentic and rooted in experience.

My classes are built on mindfulness, breath awareness, and the belief that yoga is for everyone—regardless of age, experience, or background. Through yoga, I aim to guide students toward connection—within themselves, with others, and with the present moment. Whether on the mat or in everyday life, I strive to share the peace, strength, and joy that yoga has brought to me.
