Melissa is a ERYT – 500 certified and registered with The Yoga Alliance. She has created a program that is accessible for all people, whether your goal is to teach part-time or full-time. This course will show you how to teach and go over what to teach. You will have lesson plans for beginner, intermediate, as well as advanced classes.
Melissa has included an important section in the yoga teacher training called the Yoga of Business. She brings to the table her vast knowledge of owning multiple yoga studios, directing yoga programs, forming library programs, and teaching yoga workshops throughout the Long Island, New York area for over ten years. Melissa was also the Director of a branch of The Yoga Institute for two years before forming her own teacher training program.
She is the owner of Satya Yoga and Pilates Studio in Mt. Sinai, New York and has been a yoga teacher for the last 13 years, a dance teacher for the last 19 years, and a Pilates Instructor for the last 7 years. She is a 500 hour E-RYT and specializes in pre-natal yoga, fertility yoga, and chair yoga.
