Jeannean Mercuri


Jeannean Mercuri enjoys sharing her joy of yoga with all brave enough to explore its unexpected gifts. Jeannean has been a Kripalu Yoga Instructor for 10 years. One of her most inspiring teachers is Michael Carroll, a direct disciple of Swami Kripalu. She has also studied Dynamic Yoga, Anasura Yoga and Forrest Yoga styles. She was drawn to the Kripalu style because it is so open to change, it allows for constant growth and adaptation. Kripalu Yoga is often considered the Yoga of Consciousness.


Yoga Instructor Jeannean Mercuri


She takes her Yoga classes to a very energetic level working deeply with the breath to help the flow of Prana and to open the Chakras Alignment and breath are integral to allowing Prana to flow smoothly. Watching through the mind's eye all Sensation that comes up in class (& out) allows one to witness their own consciousness and allow for personal growth. Jeannean has also had the special privilege to study with Shri Suraj Karan Jindel, affectionately known as "Papa".

Her passion for animals, horses and cats in particular, has been lifelong. Jeannean is currently a student of Equine Acupressure, a healing mode that will allow her to help horse's heal on an energetic level by increasing the flow of Prana (Chi) throughout the body. Her gift back to her horse who has opened her mind to a more Spiritual life. Jeannean's interest in healing has led her on the path of Reiki; she is a Reiki Master. She practices Reiki on all life forms.

Jeannean is also a Natural Barefoot Trimmer.In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors getting dirty, enjoying the Earth & Life!!
